Country Shop & Smokery

On the edge on the Kaimai Forest Ranges, Basecamp Country Shop & Smokery is a short drive off State Highway 2. The unique setting has unspoilt views of the Kaimai Forest Ranges. Visitors can view the hand-built smoke houses and may even catch a glimpse of trophy stags or wild boar grazing in the paddocks along the driveway.

Hunters’ wild game into salamis

Basecamp manufactures Salamis from all Wild Game, venison, wild pork, etc. and including Game birds. For all information on Hunters’ Salami please follow the links to the Hunters’ Page. Adjacent to Basecamp Country Shop & Smokery, there are facilities dedicated to Hunters, complete with chiller and processing rooms.
